Paper Pieced Perfect Blend with Stampin' Up! Retiring In Colors

Paper Pieced Perfect Blend with Stampin' Up! Retiring In Colors

Oooh you are loving the RETIRING LISTS (link on Right Hand Side) - thank you to everyone who has ordered so far - some items are already SOLD OUT so if you think you NEED something then don't delay for too long.

And so on to today's card - I am pleased that the Perfect Blend stamp set has made it to the new 2014/15 Annual Catalogue (launches on 1 July 2014) however the 2012-14 In Colors are going. I have used Midnight Muse Core'dinations, Crumb Cake and Whisper White on this card.

I stamped the cup image on Crumb Cake using Black StazOn ink and then also on Whisper White and a paper from the In Color Designer Series Paper Stack. I then cut out the lid and cup holder and paper pieced them onto the Crumb Cake image.

The background was embossed using the Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder. The banners were cut using the Hearts a Flutter Framelits. The card was finished with ribbon (Midnight Muse Stitched Satin & Whisper White Baker's Twine) and Pearl Basic Jewels.

I am really pleased with how this has turned out - shame I am not drinking coffee at the moment!

Here are the main Stampin' Up! supplies used today. Remember you can now order online if you prefer - if you click on the image you will be directed to my online store where you can pop them into your shopping basket. If you would prefer not to order online please either email me or give me a call on07530 368466 and I will be happy to help.

Free Photopolymer Stamp Sets from Stampin' Up!

Free Photopolymer Stamp Sets from Stampin' Up!

I told you last week how you could earn a FREE Photopolymer Stamp Set with every £60 you spend. Well mine arrived yesterday so I had to make a quick card.

I haven't used photopolymer before so was really impressed by the image I got - you do need the Clear-Mount Acrylic Blocks to use them but they cling really well.

I used the Hello stamp from Show & Tell 1 to make this cute geometric card. The colours used are Early Espresso, Crisp Cantaloupe, Crumb Cake and Pistachio Pudding. And I lined it all up without using my beloved Stamp-a-ma-jig - I think I am going to enjoy using the photopolymer stamps and we have been promised lots more in the NEW 2014/15 Annual Catalogue - released on 1 July.
