Stampin' Up! UK - Spring with Blessed Easter

Stampin' Up! UK - Spring with Blessed Easter

I was given a gorgeous bunch of tulips last week which inspired this card. This is using the Stampin' Up! Blessed Easter stamp. It is a Single Stamp in the Spring / Summer Catalogue and before I mounted it I carefully cut off the sentiment - now I can use it with or without the words - perfect!

Blessed Easter by Stampin' Up!

I stamped the image in Basic Grey ink and coloured it using Blender Pens and Daffodil Delight and Gumball Green Ink. Lots of matting and layering - I love the Watercolour Wonder Designer Series Paper - the colours are so fresh!  You can just see the top of the tag behind the Seam Binding bow. Have you ordered the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch yet? Seriously you do NEED it!  The sentiment is from Simply Sketched - an EXCLUSIVE hostess stamp set and the embossed background is using the Decorative Dots embossing folder - available for FREE as part of the current Sale-a-bration promotion when you spend £45 (excluding P&P) or more.

Here are the main Stampin' Up! supplies used to make today's card. Stampin' Up! Uk - Flower Shop Card in a Box

Stampin' Up! Uk - Flower Shop Card in a Box

If you have been looking at blogs recently you can't have failed to see the "Card in a Box" design - so I decided to jump onto the bandwagon!  I followed the tutorial on the super talented Monica Gale's blog and decided to showcase the GORGEOUS Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper that you can chose for FREE during Sale-a-bration with a spend of over £45 (excluding P&P) This paper is simply stunning in real life - the pictures in the brochure really don't do it justice!

I used the colours in the paper as my pallette - Sahara Sand, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pool Party, Summer Starfruit, Pistachio Pudding - so fresh and spring-like.

The box based was assembled using Sahara Sand card and decorated with the DSP matted onto Pool Party (I like layers!). I stamped lots of flowers using the Flower Shop Stamp Set and punched them out with the Pansy Punch - I just love the way Stampin' Up! makes it easy for us to craft!

The birthday greeting is from the Occasions Alphabet Stamp Set - there really is a saying for every occasion in this set. It was cut out using a die from the Circle Card Thinlits and matted on a couple of circles. The Pool Party Twine is from the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack - another Sale-a-bration freebie. The card was finished with a couple of Candy Dots.

This picture shows why these cards are so great - they fold flat to post!

Stampin' Up! Uk - Pinkies Spring / Summer Catalogue Blog Hop

Stampin' Up! Uk - Pinkies Spring / Summer Catalogue Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us on another Pinkies Blog Hop!
We're showcasing lots of gorgeous projects using products from the new Stampin' Up!® Spring/Summer Catalogue. Simply use the buttons at the end of each post to keep hopping!

If you arrived from Lizy's blog then welcome - I love what she made with the Peachy Keen Bundle! I hope you are enjoying seeing what we have all been busy creating.

Right let's get "hopping"! The Stampin' Up! Spring / Summer Catalogue is packed full of gorgeous products.  I have chosen to use the Spiral Flower Die and Happy Watercolour Stamp set.

The floral stamp was stamped in Black StazOn ink onto Naturals White cardstock and  the watercolour "splodge" (a technical term!) stamped in Tangerine Tango, Calypso Coral and Crisp Cantaloupe ink. This ombre technique is bang on trend at the moment and very effective I think.  The stamped piece and a piece of Watercolour Wonder DSP were sponged with Crumb Cake ink and matted onto Calypso Coral & Tangerine Tango card respectively.

The layers were assembled on a Crisp Cantaloupe layer over a Tea Lace Paper Doily. A flower was cut using the Spiral Flower Die and the petals sponged with Crumb Cake ink. The sentiment was stamped and cut into a banner. A Linen Thread bow and Pearl Basic Jewels finish the card.

To accompany the card I have decorated a Stampin' Up! embellishment pot using the Watercolour Wonder DSP, more die-cut flowers and pearls. The gorgeous Crisp Cantaloupe twine is from one of the FREE items you can chose from the Sale-a-bration brochure if you spend more than £45 (excluding P&P).

Don't forget you can now order any of the products I have used from my online shop.  If you would prefer not to order online please either email me or give me a call on07530 368466 and I will be happy to help.

Don't forget Sale-a-bration items can ONLY be earned for FREE with every £45 order (excluding P&P) - if you haven't already had your leaflet then drop me an email and I will pop one in the post.

Right now you need to hop on to Janneke's Blog. You will love her project using one of the NEW Designer Series Papers! I hope you enjoy the rest of the hop and have a crafty weekend!

Stampin' Up! UK - a Wetlands Goose

Stampin' Up! UK - a Wetlands Goose

I think I can confidently say that the Wetlands Stamp Set is my favourite ever Stampin' Up! stamp set! You saw me using one of the other bird image in this post.

This card is far simpler than it looks and just involved stamping, masking and sponging to get the sunset effect. The Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set was used to add some definition to the sand and sea. The background was Naturals White Card embossed using the NEW Texture Boutique Embossing Machine - this is a fabulous tool if you want something lightweight for embossing.  The Burlap Ribbon, Natural Chevron Ribbon & Linen Thread are great for providing different textures.

Here are the main Stampin' Up! supplies used to make today's card. Remember you can now order online if you prefer - if you click on the image you will be directed to my online store where you can pop them into your shopping basket:
