Triple Time Stamping with Stampin' Up! Creative Elements

Triple Time Stamping with Stampin' Up! Creative Elements

I haven't used the Triple Time Stamping technique for a while but I thought it would work well with this Stampin' Up! stamp set - Creative Elements. I first saw this technique a couple of years ago featured by an American Demo, Dawn Olchefske. If you check out this post you will find the card measurements I used & a quick tutorial. The colours are Rose Red, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla.

Once the images were stamped and the layers re-assembled I finished the card with some ribbons - Victoria Crochet Trim, Linen Thread and Crumb Cake Taffeta.  I think it is such an effecive technique - seriously the hardest part is cutting the layers!

Stampin' Up! Perfect Pennants Stamp Set with Embossed Delicate Doilies

Stampin' Up! Perfect Pennants Stamp Set with Embossed Delicate Doilies

I had my heat gun out over the weekend so thought I would have a play. The Stampin' Up! Stamp sets I used are En Francais, Delicate Doilies and Perfect Pennants. The colours used are Baked Brown Sugar, Soft Suede and Pistachio Pudding. I stamped En Francais on a piece of Baked Brown Sugar. Using the Delicate Doilies stamp I stamped in VersaMark, added White Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat embossed.   The sentiment was stamped and cut using the Big Shot & Banners Framelits Dies along with a Pistachio Pudding mat. Don't forget you can save 15% if you buy the dies in a bundle with the Stamp set.

I added Victoria Crochet Trim, Baked Brown Ruffle Stretch Trim and Linen Thread. The card is finished with an In Color Boutique Detail and more Linen Thread.

I like this colour combination - what do you think?

A Farewell using Stampin' Up! Chalk Talk Stamp Set

A Farewell using Stampin' Up! Chalk Talk Stamp Set

So, one of the rubbish things about being an army wife is that people are always moving and today I have to say goodbye to a fabulous friend and neighbour - and the dogs are losing their walking buddies.

Anyway I wanted to make a special card - and I happen to know that Pool Party is a favourite colour. I started with the sentiment I wanted to use from the Chalk Talk stamp set and went from there. After lots of punching (Large Oval), sponging (Crumb Cake), cutting (Banners Framelits, Apothecary Accents Framelits) and embossing (Arrows Embossing Folder) - and some ribbons (Crochet Trim, Taffeta & Linen Thread) I came up with the final design which I am really pleased with.

How cute is the little wave on the Designer Series Paper - one of the designs in I am Me.

Anyway I am pleased to report that the card went down well - as did the present! The funny thing is we had both bought each other the same thing - a huge tube of L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream - you can tell the sort of exciting things we talk about on our dog walks!!

Stampin' Up! UK - Sassy Salutations

Stampin' Up! UK - Sassy Salutations

I seem to be using Crisp Cantaloupe loads at the moment - I just love the colour and it works so well with neutrals.  Today's card was for lovely friends of ours who recently got engaged and uses a sentiment from the fabulous Sassy Salutations stamp set.  The sentiment was stamped in Soft Suede and cut out using the Apothecary Accents Framelits and matted on Soft Suede card. A piece of Naturals White card was run through the Big Shot using the Honeycomb Embossing Folder and sponged round the edges.

The patterned papers are the Crisp Cantaloupe from the 2013-15 In-Colour Designer Series Paper Stack & Venetian Romance Designer Series Paper.  The Large Scallop Edgelit was used to cut a piece of Pistachio Pudding card which was also paper pricked using a template from the Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack and layered under a piece of DSP. A piece of Victoria Crochet Trim and Linen Thread add texture.

The hearts were cut using the Hearts a Flutter Framelits and the whole card sprayed with the Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz (you can see the shine in this photo). Basic Pearl Jewels finished off the card.

A Perfectly Penned Birthday Card!

Another birthday card for you today showing off the gorgeous Stampin' Up! Soho Subway Designer Series Paper.

The swirls from the Everything Eleanor Stamp Set were stamped in Crumb Cake ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock and the edges of the card sponged. This piece was matted onto Crisp Cantaloupe card and an Early Espresso card base.  The label was a bit of a "happy accident" - I had stamped it in Crisp Cantaloupe ink but it didn't look right so I stamped it again using Crumb Cake ink - but forgot to clean my stamp first!! I quite like the effect.  The sentiment from Perfectly Penned Stamp Set was lined up using the Stamp-a-ma-jig - perfect placement every time! The label was cut out using the super sharp Paper Snips.

A banner was cut from a piece of Soho Subway Designer Series Paper and edged with card punched using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch, this was layered on top of a Tea Lace Paper Doilie which had been sponged with Crumb Cake and Crisp Cantaloupe inks.  The label was popped over a piece of Victoria Crochet Trim. A Very Vintage Designer Button knotted with Linen Thread and Pearl Basic Jewels finish the card.

I love the Everything Eleanor Stamp Set; swirls, flowers, labels and a cute bird - what more could you want?
