I had my heat gun out over the weekend so thought I would have a play. The Stampin' Up! Stamp sets I used are En Francais, Delicate Doilies and Perfect Pennants. The colours used are Baked Brown Sugar, Soft Suede and Pistachio Pudding. I stamped En Francais on a piece of Baked Brown Sugar. Using the Delicate Doilies stamp I stamped in VersaMark, added White Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat embossed.   The sentiment was stamped and cut using the Big Shot & Banners Framelits Dies along with a Pistachio Pudding mat. I added Victoria Crochet Trim, Baked Brown Ruffle Stretch Trim and Linen Thread. The card is finished with an In Color Boutique Detail and more Linen Thread.

A Moonlight Scene with Stampin' Up! Wetlands

Several of my Military Wives Choir friends are doing the Moonwalk in London tonight so I wanted to make a card to let them know I will be thinking of them! I wanted the moon to be the feature on this card so I know it isn't technically correct and should be behind the hills!  And I used purple as that is the choir colour!

I started by stamping the grass using a stamp from the Wetlands stamp set and VersaMark - I heat embossed this with Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder and then over stamped with Black StaxOn ink. I made a mask of the moon and some hills using sticky notes and then added ink using a Brayer. The colours used are Perfect Plum, Smoky Slate and Soft Sky. I added a bit of texture to the bottom section with a a stamp from Gorgeous Grunge. The sentiment is from Million and One - and is so true! Every single lady doing the Moonwalk tonight is fabulous!

I cut the sentiment out using a framelit from Apothecary Accents, matted it on Basic Black card and attached using Silver Ribbon.

We love Stampin' Up! Demo Support!

#weloveDS - so what is this all about then?  Well at Stampin' Up! each country has a fantastic group of staff who provide support to Demonstrators and Customers alike called Demo Support and this week we want to show our love and appreciation for the lovely people who faithfully fix our messes, clear up confusion, and pass along our opinions, all with a smile and encouragement!

I have made this card which is winging its way to Germany as you read this. I wanted to use gold as they all deserve a gold medal!  This card was a nightmare to photograph so please excuse the slightly dodgy picture but you get the gist! I created the background using a stamp from Gorgeous Grunge , VersaMark ink and heat embossing with Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder, and layered on some Watercolour Wonder Designer Washi Tape and Gold Sequin Trim.

I KNOW I have said this before but I love the Just Sayin' and Word Bubbles Framelits Dies (don't forget you save 15% if you order them as a bundle). Again I embossed the phrases in Gold. The card was finished with a couple of loose sequins, matted onto Gold Foil Sheet and a Night of Navy card base.

Hopefully they will like it - and more importantly know that we really do appreciate them!

This is such a quick technique but looks really effective. A piece of Whisper White card was masked off using a sticky note. I stamped the floral image from the Happy Watercolour Stamp Set in Versamark and heat embossed with Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder.  Soft Sky, Pool Party and Smoky Slate ink were then sponged over the image to create a graduated effect. 

To add more texture I then stamped the splatters (technical term!) from the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set over the sponging in the same inks. The sentiment is from the A Round Array Stamp Set and was punched out using the 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch. This was popped up on Dimensionals over a piece of Whisper White Baker's Twine. The card from was matted onto Soft Sky card and a Basic Black card base.

I then made a quick envelope using the Envelope Punch Board - such a versatile piece of kit and a great way to use up retired papers!
