So I am continuing my quest to use ALL my stamps before the new Stampin' Up! Catalogue comes out in July. Today's offering uses the Apothecary Art Stamp Set - can't believe I hadn't used this particular stamp before .....

I stamped the image in Basic Grey ink and used my trusty Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the sentiment and cut it out using the Labels Collection Framelits. The image was coloured using Summer Starfruit & Pear Pizzazz ink and a Blender Pen and the edges sponged with Smoky Slate ink. The Designer Series Paper is from Eastern Elegance, matted and layered onto Smoky Slate, Whisper White (embossed using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder) and Summer Starfruit card. 

The card is finished off with a Summer Starfruit Stitched Satin Ribbon tied in a bow - don't forget Summer Starfruit will be retiring in June to make way for new In Colors so make sure you stock up if you love it.

Today's card is Sale-a-bration product heavy! I can't believe that Stampin' Up!'s biggest promotion ends tomorrow (31st March 2014) - the cut-off time for orders is 10pm so don't miss out!

So to the card - I embossed a piece of Whisper White with the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder. I am so pleased this item will be available again in the NEW Annual Catalogue (Due out on 1 July 2014).

I inked up the alligator image from the See Ya Later stamp set using Stampin' Write Markers (Old Olive and Soft Suede) and cut it out so it would mat on a label cut using the Apothecary Accents Framelits. The "Love" image from Banner Blast was stamped and punched out using the Banner Punch (another item returning in July!).

I wound Summer Starfuit Twine from the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack round the embossed card, added the sentiment piece and finished it with a flower cut using the Floral Fusion Sizzlits and a cute In Color Dahlia in Summer Starfruit. These will definitely retire in June as we will be getting new "In Colors" in July - exciting!

Stampin' Up! Colour Refresh!

How exciting! Stampin' Up! have announced that we will be having a colour refresh when the new Annual Catalogue is launched on 1 July 2013.  

However don't panic! We will be keeping the four Colour Families - Brights, Regals, Subtles and Neutrals but they will include 10 new colours (six of which are returning In Colors from previous years). Some colours have been moved around and there will be four brand-new colours.

So what does this mean for you? Well, as from today all the card, ink and accessories in the discontinued colours will only be available WHILE STOCKS LAST so if you have any colours you can't be without do get in touch NOW.

The new colours will be available from 1 July when the new Annual Catalogue is launched - I for one can't wait!
