Stampin' Up! Uk - Even Dogs Can Stamp!

Stampin' Up! Uk - Even Dogs Can Stamp!

Ok - so I don't often share personal stuff on my blog but as some of you know, my husband is in sandy places till October so I wanted to send him a reminder of our two dogs!  They were not overly amused when I made them stand on a Baked Brown Sugar ink pad and then a bit of card!  I created a surround using the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder (available on the WEEKLY DEALS till Tuesday night) and Pool Party card. I should really have matted the print piece on another piece of Baked Brown Sugar but had already stuck it down .....

I love the detail on the close up of Millie's paw - hair and all. I am not sure my Ink Pad will be the same again though!  I will leave you with a picture of them both. Millie on the left and Buick (Mr B) on the right.

Stampin' Up! Uk - Dress Up Framelits

Stampin' Up! Uk - Dress Up Framelits

I wanted to showcase some of the fabulous products in this week's Stampin' Up! Weekly Deals. This card uses the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder to create a border and the super-cute Dress Up Framelits to cut out the dress and stand.

A piece of Naturals White was run through the Big Shot in the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder and the edges sponged with Crumb Cake to make the embossing "pop". This was matted on Raspberry Ripple card and a Baked Brown Sugar card base.

The stand was cut from Baked Brown Sugar card and stamped using the Hardwood stamp. I cut the dress from a Tea Lace Paper Doily and used extra pieces to give the skirt some layers. The dress was sponged with Crumb Cake ink and finished with a bow in Raspberry Ripple Stitched Satin Ribbon. A string of Basic Pearl Jewels add a final touch. The dress is mounted on a piece of Raspberry Ripple paper from the 2012-14 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack cut using an Ovals Collection Framelit

To finish the inside of the card I used the Viola's Lace Builder Wheel stamp - so pretty.

Here are the main Stampin' Up! supplies used to make today's card.
