Stampin' Up! Uk - Pinkies SAB Blog Hop

Stampin' Up! Uk - Pinkies SAB Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us on another Pinkies Blog Hop!
We're showcasing lots of gorgeous projects using new Stampin' Up!® products that you can earn free during Sale-a-bration. Simply use the buttons at the end of each post to keep hopping!

If you arrived from Lizy's blog then welcome! I hope you are enjoying seeing what we have all been busy creating. I love the card Lizy has made with the Banner Blast Stamp Set - such a versatile set.

Right let's get "hopping"!  Sale-a-bration starts on Tuesday 28th January and the leaflet is packed FULL of lovely FREE products (you can chose one for each £45 you spend). I have used the You're Lovely Stamp Set , Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper and Decorative Dots Embossing Folder :-

The floral stamp was stamped in Sahara Sand ink onto Whisper White cardstock and coloured using Summer Starfruit & Pistachio Pudding Stampin' Write Markers and a Blender PenThe image was then cut out using the Deco Labels Collection Framelits and the Magnetic Platform. A Summer Starfruit mat was cut using the Circles Originals Die just to lift the image.

To add dimension to the background a piece of Pistachio Pudding card was run through the Big Shot using the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder - I love this folder (AND it will be appearing in the Main Catalogue in July which is great news!)

The Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper is perfect for spring cards - the colours are just fabulous! A piece was matted onto Whisper White cardstock to give some contrast and layered onto the dotty background.

The border image was stamped in Pistachio Pudding ink and a Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punched out of Sahara Sand card and layered behind. The card is finished with some Itty Bitty Shapes punched images and Pearl Basic Jewels.

You can see a glimpse of the envelope in the first picture which I also stamped with the border image.

As lots of you will know Sale-a-bration items can ONLY be earned for FREE with every £45 order (excluding P&P) - if you haven't already had your leaflet then drop me an email and I will pop one in the post.

Don't forget you can now order any of the products I have used from my online shop.  If you would prefer not to order online please either email me or give me a call on07530 368466 and I will be happy to help.

Right now you need to hop on to Lisa's Blog. You will be blown away by her project - something totally different! I hope you enjoy the rest of the hop and have a crafty weekend!

Stampin' Up! Uk See Ya Later SAB Sneak Peek

Stampin' Up! UK See Ya Later SAB Sneak Peek

Good grief! Where does time go? My blog has been sadly neglected over the last few weeks as life has got in the way of crafting and blogging so apologies to any of my followers.

Today's card is giving you a sneak peek of something to come! Regular Stampin' Up! fans will know that Sale-a-bration is just round the corner (28th January!) and the sentiment on this card is from a fabulous set called See Ya Later which will be available for FREE with a purchase of £45 or more.

The image was stamped in Always Artichoke ink and cut out using the Apothecary Accents Framelits and Big Shot. It is then matted on a punched Crumb Cake circle.

The background is stamped using images from the hugely versatile Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set in Crumb Cake, Always Artichoke and Wisteria Wonder ink. I love the splodges - controllable ink drops! This piece is matted onto Wisteria Wonder card and a piece of Linen Thread is wrapped round with the sentiment popped up using Dimensionals. The card base is Crumb Cake.

Don't forget if you like today's card you can buy the products from my online shop. If you would like a copy of the Sale-a-Bration leaflet to see the other fabulous freebies please email me and I will pop one in the post.

Stampin' Up! UK - Blooming with Kindness!

Stampin' Up! Uk Blooming with Kindness.

I was asked to make a birthday card for a lovely lady who is celebrating her 70th birthday at the end of the year but I know she isn't online so I am safe to share it with you now!

I love the 2013-15 In Colors and this card uses Crisp Cantaloupe as the main colour along with the Blooming with Kindness Stamp Set.

The flower image was inked up using Crisp Cantaloupe ink and a Tangerine Tango Stampin' Write Marker to highlight parts of the stamp, the stem was coloured in Soft Suede and the image stamped on Very Vanilla card.

The sentiment was stamped using Soft Suede ink and cut & matted using framelits from the Oval and Deco Labels Collections.  Mats were cut from the Venetian Romance Designer Series Paper

The brief I received for the card asked for a "subtle" reference to the 70th birthday so it was incorporated into the background card using the ABC-123 Sketch Alphabet & Numbers Stamp Set. The Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set and lots of sponging helped "distress" the card which was finished with a piece of Victoria Crochet Trim, a Linen Thread bow and Pearl Basic Jewels.

Hopefully she will like it!

Here is a list of the Stampin' Up! supplies used to make today's card. Don't forget you can now order online if you prefer - if you click on the image you will be directed to my online store where you can pop them into your shopping basket:

Stampin' Up! Uk European Convention - Pinkie Swaps!

Stampin' Up! Uk European Convention - Pinkie Swaps!

I blogged yesterday about my general swaps that I made for the Stampin' Up! Uk European Convention - well today I am focusing on the swaps I made for team I belong to - the Pinkies.  We are headed up by the super-lovely Michelle Last - I adore this lady and am so pleased to call her a friend! There were 85 Pinkies at convention - we rocked!

So on to my swaps! More tags (my husband was on a roll with the Big Shot and Framelits!) The image is from the fabulous Santa's List Stamp Set - stamped in Chocolate Chip ink onto Whisper White card and cut out using the Circles Collection Framelits. The edges were then sponged with Crumb Cake ink for the "vintage" look, and mounted onto a Real Red circle and Chocolate Chip tag cut using the Deco Labels Collection Framelits.

The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments, stamped and punched out using the Word Window Punch and layered on a banner cut from Crumb Cake card using one of the framelits from the Label Card Framelits set.

A piece of Real Red Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon tied with Linen Thread completed the tag.

Thank you to everyone who swapped with me! I received so many fabulous swaps in return - so much inspiration (and a huge wish list obviously!!)

Stampin' Up! UK Convention Swaps

Stampin' Up! UK Convention Swaps

Wow! What a fantastic few days I have had in Manchester at the 2013 Stampin' Up! European Convention!

One thing which also always happens at Stampin' Up! events is "swapping". This is where you make a batch of identical card fronts or 3-d items to exchange with fellow demonstrators so you end up with lots of ideas showcasing different stamps, styles and techniques. I made 100 Gift Tags to swap - that is all of them in the picture above!

I have realised that I didn't take a picture of an individual tag but you get the gist from the picture above!  The cute baby grows are from the Baby Tees Jumbo wheel, stamped in Chocolate Chip ink onto Whisper White card and coloured using the In Color 2012-2014 Stampin' Write Markers and a Blender Pen.  They were then "fussy cut" using the fabulous Paper Snips - now this was a good idea when I started - after cutting out 200 I was not so sure!  The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments, stamped and punched out using the Word Window Punch and layered on a piece of matching In Color card punched with the Modern Label Punch.

The baby grows were mounted on circles cut using the Circles Collection Framelits from the Designer Series Paper Stack and Whisper White card. The tag base was cut from Chocolate Chip card using the Deco Labels Collection Framelits. A piece of Satin Stitched Ribbon tied with Whisper White Baker's Twine finished the tag.

Thank you to everyone who swapped with me! And a huge thank you to my lovely husband for his help with the Big Shot!
